We understand your needs...
Managed service programmes (MSPs) provide strategic management of your flexible workforce and supply chain. The key benefits of having such a service include control and visibility of spend, compliant practices, process efficiencies, effective use of technology, ability to scale, and optimisation of resources.
As an integral part of your company’s talent strategy, we ensure your contingent workforce solution not only accesses the skills you need - no matter how niche - but reflects your employee value proposition (EVP), equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDI&B) programme, and supports talent mapping for your future needs. With the talented professionals you need at your fingertips, managed services with Reed Talent Solutions can reduce your time to hire by up to 70%.
When adopting managed services with us you will gain full visibility and control of your contingent workforce, whether they are temporary workers, contractors, or professional service providers. Our triage service, an integrated part of the solution, ensures we engage the most effective and economical route to the skills your team needs.
We manage your sourcing, engagement, administration and pre-employment vetting through a single process, creating a supply chain that’s streamlined, engaged and stress free.
Our MSPs help you make the right workforce decisions for your business, from deployment to people strategy and cost management. We can deliver, on average, 18% savings on your total recruitment spend.

James Bridgland, Managing Partner for Consultancy+, discusses the implementation of managed services and the benefits of allowing for consultancy spend within a managed service programme (MSP).
Master vendor, neutral vendor, hybrid. Which managed service programmes (MSPs) provide the best access to talent given the current challenges facing talent acquisition teams?
Managed service programmes (MSPs) can incorporate more than a contingent workforce – here’s how they can give you control over all your non-permanent engagements.
Managed services give companies the opportunity to have their entire recruitment process managed by one provider. This includes managing other approved suppliers, where necessary, on your behalf. We can distribute orders on a preferred or lead supplier basis, depending on location and job category. The benefit is there will be one standardised process for orders, fulfilment, timesheets, invoicing and performance management, across all contingent workforce suppliers.
A managed service offers complete visibility and control over your entire contingent workforce, helping you to make informed recruitment decisions.
Key benefits include:
Reduced cost and time to hire
Effective supply chain management
Increased compliance, reducing your exposure to risk
Access to the right talent and skills every time
Access to insight and analytics through advanced technology
Our managed services can deliver, on average, 18% savings on your total recruitment spend. The pricing of our managed services is flexible and designed to help you realise savings through process efficiencies, day rates to contractors, and supplier fees.
During implementation, one project workstream will cover engaging with your existing suppliers. We will determine and manage any risks associated with your incumbent temporary and contractor workforce. Where possible, we would always look to align the incumbent temporary and contractor workforce to the new service.
During implementation, one project workstream will involve building an effective supply chain with you. We would work to bring across approved incumbent suppliers to the new service.
Typically, a managed service will take between 12 and 16 weeks to implement. Implementation is managed by a dedicated project manager who takes responsibility for all workstreams, including process design, technology, MI, invoicing, audit and compliance, support suppliers, risk management, transition management, communications and training.
A vendor management system (VMS) is the technology platform used to operate a managed service. The VMS controls all staff orders and provides full transparency at every stage of the process, from order through to invoicing.
Our current managed service clients have a variety of needs and requirements, ranging from looking to reduce the cost of their recruitment, to wanting to improve their management of suppliers. We understand every business is different, and so we build bespoke managed service programmes.
