Our client, a major UK media production and broadcasting company was experiencing challenges across its resourcing function – specifically in relation to a large number of engineering technology requirements across their online and on-demand division.
The roles were deemed hard to fill due to the market-wide skills shortage of candidates and the high demand for these roles from competitor organisations.
Our client’s talent advisory team did not have the necessary level of expertise or capacity to successfully recruit these roles. The result was these critical roles had remained open and unfilled for an extended period, with expensive contractor resource being utilised until permanent employees could be recruited and on-boarded.
As an expert provider of specialist technology recruitment services, Reed Talent Solutions was engaged to deliver an initial requirement of 20 engineering hires into their online and on-demand division.
