Understanding and embedding co-production is an interactive webinar designed to deepen your understanding of co-production in health and social care. This session will explore the origins and evolution of co-production, unpack its core principles, and demonstrate how it can be effectively and inclusively embedded into everyday practice.

Attendees will gain insights into how co-production creates shared benefits for individuals drawing on services, their carers, and professionals, and why it is supported by regulatory bodies such as the CQC. The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with our expert speakers and take away practical strategies for implementation.

Speakers

Jo Sutherland – Technical Director, Reed

Jo will open the session with an introduction to co-production, exploring its historical context and significance in contemporary practice.

Rich Amos – Lived Experience Advisor

Rich will focus on the impact of co-production for people who draw on services and their carers, and discuss its relevance to the CQC’s evolving expectations.

Both speakers will co-host the Q&A segment at the end of the webinar.
